Description
Pretty decent original 1958 buddy holly "listen to me" ep. the cover has a 1-inch split on the top right side seam. all of the other seams have NO splits. there is a 2 and a half inch "wrinkle crease" on the top right side. bottom right side has what appears to be a round glue "dimple" under the paper. most likely a factory mistake. front cover shows additional wear as well as the back cover. I tried my best to provide lots of pictures, so please look at them carefully.
The record labels are very clean and very orange. Visually, the record has minor wear etc. plays and sounds like a strong VG or better. the record was cleaned thoroughly and played on a crisp new needle.
"Listen to me" plays through with a very slight background "hiss." I heard a couple of "pops," but sounds great!
"Peggy Sue" plays through with the same slight background "hiss." I didn't hear any "pops." The last 2 seconds of the song have a "static" hiss sound that continues into the runoff. Sounds great except for the last 2 seconds.
"I'm gonna love you too," plays through with the same slight background "hiss." I heard a couple of "pops," but again, sounds great!
"Everyday" plays through with the same slight background "hiss" but is slightly more present since it's a quieter song. I didn't hear any "crackles or pops." The very last second of the song has that "static" hissing sound that continues into the runoff. Sounds great except for the last second.
Overall, it is a very enjoyable hi-fidelity listen for being 66 years old
The record will be packaged safely outside of the jacket in a generic white paper sleeve.
