Description

This legendary audiophile pressing of Buddy Holly's 1st [1958] Lp was released in 1995 by MCA Records (MCA-11161) as part of their Audiophile 'Heavy Vinyl' series.  There are several titles in this series but this one tops them all.  The detail, clarity, and depth in the audio will leave you shaking your head in disbelief....a truly astounding sonic experience.  Well-known and respected  'Stereophile' reviewer Michael Fremer said after hearing this Lp:  "....The first few seconds of listening to this Lp caused a shock to my system."  I urge you to find and read his entire rave review for this pressing in the October 1995 issue (page 45) of 'Stereophile' magazine.
