About This Record. This is an original super rare Canadian copy of Buddy Holly's first LP on the circular lines Decca label! There is no reserve on this even though I paid well more than $100 for this, after taking it home and listening to it. But I'm thinning my Buddy Holly collection to keep only USA copies of stuff, so here is your chance! See Photos and description below. Cool Rockabillly! Vinyl Condition. Looks: VG with lots of paper marks and light scuffs, but no signs of serious destruction. PLAYS: Super STRONG EX/better. I played this on my Rockport Sirius turntable and super picky Benz LP cartridge, so there are no problems other than visual and why I both play and visual graded! Cleaned on myVPI Record Cleaning Machine.
Cover Condition. Fair. The bottom seam and spine are split and taped with three piece of tape, each, but not along the spine and seam, but rather across into the cover unfortunately. Nice top seam! No writing or price sticker marks; light to medium ring wear on front cover. Bottom right hand corner of front cover states "Made in Canada" Label Condition. Labels are STRONG EX, just some spindle marks. And light Factory issues (light flaking/bubbling in label, but as new). I grade conservatively!
Labels. Labels are clean with no writing or price sticker marks (why I bought it!) but there is noticeable spindle wear if that bothers you, but I thought it echoed this wierd Decca label design. There was never a US copy with labels like this!

Common LPs are a waste of your time and mine! I bought this many years ago during my travels and have kept in well preserved. This comes cleaned on my VPI record cleaning machine and housed in a new rice paper equivalent sleeve, and plastic sleeve, and original plain inner sleeve.
