Hi Folks -

Here is an original 1957 Lp album of Buddy Holly's Chirping Crickets.

The jacket cover is in pretty darn good condition with only a 4" seamsplit on the top opening corner.  You can't hardly tell it is there until you start to take record out. There is a small original (?) pricing done in pencil on the top right back of cover.....      198      

I have also seen some listed as having a textured cover.  I don't think this one is.

I would say the record has seen more wear than the cover. I am not a professional grader, but would say it is only fair to good.  There are a lot of surface scratches and I have not tried to play it (my player has been in storage for years).  The black label with silver print has no writing or tape on it.

Bottom line.....pretty great cover, so-so record.
