Condition of the cover is very solid. Mild surface rubbing here and there, nothing to bad at all. The spine is tight and the top and bottom seams are very much in tact. There is a slight split (around an inch or so) located at the bottom-front-right. It’s at the opened side of the cover directly under the “Printed in U.S.A.” text. The same goes for the opposite seam at the top of the open side (less than an inch). The construction of the cover is still very tight and strong and will remain that way as long as the record is stored outside the cover.


Condition of the vinyl is solid VG+. Play tested it one last time before this listing. There are no marks that can be felt when running your fingers over the surface on either side. There are plenty of those hairline marks seen when tilting it under bright lights. None of these marks affect the sound.


Background noise is rarely if at all present. This record has deep grooves and has been very well cared for. The sound is clear and strong with next to no annoying moments of crackle or pops. A very listenable record. I think this is possibly a styrene or other type pressing? It definitely has that feel (as many records from the fifties) and just as with vinyl, if it has been taken care of it doesn’t really matter what 50s pressing process was used. This record plays and sounds great.

Thank you very much for considering this addition to your record shelves. It’s in really nice shape and priced very fairly for the overall condition of both the cover and record. It’s definitely got plenty of miles left in the grooves and isn’t made for filing away but rather providing great enjoyment that only a first pressing can (just an opinion).
