Description

This listing is for one copy of Buddy Holly-That'll Be The Day. The condition of the sleeve is shown pretty well in the photos. The top edge is completely split and there is serious wear at the lower right corner. The whole thing shows discoloration and some ring wear, but the colors on the front cover still show out pretty well. I've graded the vinyl as 'fair' because it's loaded up with surface scratches, and has an actual skip in track 5 of side 1. Side 2 (including the title track) sounds generally better and despite the condition, it's still pretty fun to listen to. You still get the sense of the incredible rockabilly sound of Buddy Holly and what the hype was all about. I don't normally list lower quality records, but this one is fairly uncommon and it would be a nice way for someone to experience his original sound without spending a small fortune. If you fall in love with it, you can invest in a nicer copy. Thanks.
