Description
Buffalo Springfield~Mono~ Buffalo Springfield's Début self titled album from 1967~Atlantic 587070 (UK 1st Pressing)
This pressing has some serious misprints on the sleeve and the vinyl.
This pressing does NOT have 'FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH' as a track and is NOT replaced with 'BABY DON'T SCOLD ME' like other pressings.
Side one - Track 1 on the sleeve and vinyl reads, 'FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH' but plays 'GO AND SAY GOODBYE'Track 2 on the sleeve and vinyl reads, 'GO AND SAY GOODBYE' but plays 'SIT DOWN I THINK I LOVE YOU'Track 3 on the sleeve and vinyl reads, 'SIT DOWN I THINK I LOVE YOU' but plays 'LEAVE'From track 4 onwards both sleeve and vinyl match. (Still with me?)
Side two:-All tracks on side two both sleeve and vinyl match apart from:-Track 4 on the sleeve and vinyl reads, 'LEAVE' but plays 'BABY DON'T SCOLD ME'
(Phew!)
Condition:-
Sleeve has some minor wear, the edges have been cellotaped to prevent splitting and the spine has wear. Sleeve graded as Vg- (please see photos)
Vinyl: visually has evidence of handling/play and has some light surface marking/scuffing but does not affect the listening experience, apart from the evidence of a little static in quieter parts the album plays through without hindrance (no skips or pops)
Play grade better than Vg
Matrix A/1 B/1
In short a stand up copy of an exceptional debut album???
