Factory SEALED original 1969 US pressing soundtrack LP for the Steve McQueen classic movie “Bullitt” (WB 1777, stereo) with an incredible jazz funk score composed and conducted by Lalo Schifrin. This is an original US pressing, not one of the recent reissues or imports.
The funk and jazz based Blaxploitation website gives this soundtrack its highest rating describing it as: “…a perfect blend of funk, pop and jazz".
The movie, starring Steve McQueen, Jacqueline Bisset and Robert Vaughn, set the standard for detective movies and car chases and the jazzy score is a big part of the reason this movie has reached cult status.
The tracklist is: Bullitt (main title theme)/Room “26”/Hotel Daniels/The Aftermath Of Love/Music To Interrogate By/On The Way To San Mateo/Ice Pick Mike/A Song for Cathy/Shifting Gears/Cantata For Combo/The First Snowfall/Bullitt (end title theme).
The SEALED LP has a “Warner Brothers” small brass rivet in the upper left-hand corner.
