Mala 457 45 RPM 1962 Bunker Hill

“Red Ridin’ Hood and the Wolf”/“Nobody Knows”


Produced by Ray Vernon, Washington, DC gospel singer David Walker (1941-1986) from the Mighty Clouds of Joy took on the stage name Bunker Hill and began recording for Mala Records.

His first secular release, “Hide and Go Seek”, became a national hit. This disc, his second for the label, was issued in November of 1962.


Vinyl: Excellent with plenty of shine, graded between VG++ and M- condition.

The labels are clean, clear and unmarked. It has been cleaned with an ultrasonic record cleaner as well.


This copy comes from the 50-year collection of a recently deceased New England disc jockey.
