Description
Very reluctant sale of a few of my original black metal classics. Bought by myself on original release. If you are looking you already know about this legendary EP, but what you may not realise is that a few mis-pressed versions slipped through the net. metalformaniacs.com state that there are 3 known copies like this, hence this may be the rarest of all of the Burzum vinyl releases. The labels have been pressed on the wrong side of the vinyl. If you look at the second picture you can see that there is a skip in the grooves which should not be.
With my description I will describe conservatively - I feel that is a superb example as I have looked after all my vinyl very carefully over the years.
Anyway, the sleeve is in excellent condition, with no tears, no writing and the seam is intact with only one or two wrinkles at one or two points along the length, which extends slightly onto the front surface in the bottom left corner. You do have to look in a good light to see any flaws. All printing is clearly visible.
The vinyl itself is in excellent condition, with just a few superficial paper scuffs from the original paper sleeve, which I replaced with a poly-lined sleeve to protect the vinyl. There is a good sheen to the record, and sound quality is excellent with no jumps, clicks etc through the full length. The production on this EP was superb. In essence an 18 year old record that plays as well now as it did all those years back.
This record will be shipped in very sturdy packaging, and given its value will only be shipped insured. There is a reserve price, but the reserve is at a lower price than even the ordinary versions that have sold on ebay before. If buy it now selected I will ship fully insured at my expense.
Due to problems with postal services in Italy, Russia, and South America, I will not ship to these areas - sorry.
Otherwise postal costs will be roughly: UK £4, Europe £10, rest of world £15. If the actual costs are significantly less I will refund the difference, if it costs more (which it probably will be) I will not charge any extra.
Any questions just ask...
