RARE AND HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER!!
THIS IS MY ONLY ONE! DON'T MISS OUT!!
BRAND NEW AND SEALED.
The creators of SHAOLIN JAZZ kicked off 2022 with their first vinyl release of the classic 37th Chamber Mixtape, which sold out in less than 48 hours. Now their back with a limited vinyl release of their 2015 homage to the late Donald Byrd . . . Byrd Over Staten. This installment to the SHAOLIN JAZZ music catalog features samples and original compositions by Dr. Byrd, laced with lyrics by the infamous Wu-Tang Clan. It also features guest appearances by Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss, AZ and Tekitha.
The SHAOLIN JAZZ mixtape series is a testament to the stylistic connection between both Jazz and Hip-Hop. It is a mix project whereby various Jazz songs and breaks are fused with vocals from the Wu-Tang Clan. The music and lyrics are astutely crafted to match both in cadence and tone, and the incorporated Jazz selections also help to accentuate the essence and intensity of the Clan. Since 2011 SHAOLIN JAZZ has developed a cult following and continues to redefine the intersections of Hip Hop, Jazz and Martial Arts.
