Description
Original AFRTS (American Forces Radio & Television Service) transcription LP, RL‑34‑0, pairing Evie Sands’ Any Way That You Want Me with Claudine Longet’s Run Wild, Run Free. Produced exclusively for U.S. service members and distributed to bases worldwide, AFRTS discs were never sold commercially. Collectors prize these for their unique compilations and Cold War‑era broadcasting history. This copy features Evie Sands’ soulful pop vocals (But You Know I Love You, Carolina in My Mind) alongside Claudine Longet’s soft, breathy interpretations of contemporary hits (Everybody’s Talkin’, Something, A Bushel and a Peck).
Photo Note: The circular “ring” visible in some images is only a reflection from the ring light used during photography. It is not present on the record or cover itself. Records are photographed under this lighting to highlight surface details and flaws as clearly as possible.

VG record / VG− sleeve. Strong gloss with faint scuffs, sleeve rubs, and spotting gloss wear. Playback is clean overall, with faint surface noise and occasional pops, mostly between tracks. AFRTS pressings are known for minor factory flaws and often play better on higher‑end equipment. Labels show minor spindle wear; Side 2 marked “612” matching the sleeve. Sleeve has fading across the top, minor tears, corner wear, and ring wear, but no seam splits. Playback may vary depending on equipment; sold as‑is.
