The fanzine mainly covers the independent cassette scene and experimental, industrial and minimal synth culture of the late '70s and early '80s. The fanzine is related to the CABARTE label which issued some great electronic & experimental cassettes (ALLOTROPES, NEW WORK COMPILATION etc) - the title of the fanzine on some issues is also CABARTE instead of CABARET This copy of the fanzine was originally sent to experimental electronics artist Colin Potter (who run the IRC label, collaborated with Nurse With Wound etc)
