Daniels was a Black, Depression-era nightclub/cabaret singer working mostly in Harlem, where he also owned a nightclub for a time, but also appeared on Broadway and travelled to perform overseas as well. He specialized in show numbers by Cole Porter, Harold Arlen, Rodgers & Hart and the Gershwins. Also performed risque nightclub material. These sides are ARC pressings from 1934.
