Description
TITLE/ARTIST: This ultra rare and highly collectible 1st LP release -- from 1960 -- by the '50's-'60's R'n'R/DooWop group, The Cadillacs, is on the shiny black, Jubilee Label and is in very nice overall condition. The album is self-entitled, "The Fabulous Cadillacs" and features 12 great songs of their's -- including a couple of their biggest hits. It is just one of many nicely conditioned LPs I'll be listing in the coming days/weeks ahead, including other Cadillacs LPs, early Mel Carter, Jan and Dean, The Cadets, and Barry and The Tamerlines amongst others. As mentioned already, this LP is in very nice overall condition and features 12 great songs including their hits, "Zoom", "Wishing Well", and "Speedoo" among others. In my opinion, the overall condition of both the vinyl and the jacket are quite good---but it isn't perfect by any means. So, please view the pics below, read about the LP's condition, and judge it all for yourself. LABEL INFO: It is on the Jubilee Label, JGM 1045, in original MONO. I don't see that many spindle marks around the center circle which indicates to me it may have been played rather sparingly. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is extremely shiny, clean and nice but does have numerous, extremely light surface/paper lines on either side---but none of this has any effect on the album's play--nor, in my opinion, that much on it's appearance either. JACKET INFO: The colorful "car" cover is in very nice overall shape, but does have a small seam split (3" and less) along both the top and bottom seam. Otherwise, it is just fine!! So again, please view the pictures below and judge everything for yourself---for whatever small faults this album might have, it is still one very rare and very hard to find LP. INTERESTING FACTS: You just don't see these early and rare 1950-60's LPs out there very much anymore, espiecally in this kind of decent overall shape, so please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so---many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my personal collection, and there are many more records of all genres to get to yet. Many of these still to be listed records are quite rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in super good shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! When attempting to view my pictures, please be a little patient as they do take a few seconds to fully focus---but they do come in. And, if anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $4.00 (Media) for the first LP purchased, and then just $1.00 per LP after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$16.00 for the 1st LP and then just $5.00 per LP after that. Please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come!
