Here’s a real rarity and a lovely gem in excellent condition from the Golden age of Jamaican Music. Two brilliant, bouncy and very authentic Jamaican Reggae tracks so typical of 1969, produced by Lloyd Charmers. The A side, Catnip, is a great organ instrumental. The B side Is another organ instrumental. Both superbly played by the ultra tight rhythm section, The Hippy Boys, who were definitely at the top of their game during this period. Of all the Pama subsidiaries, I always liked Camel the best, having in my opinion, the most authentic Jamaican sound in the production.
Both sides are in EX condition. Under a bright light, there are quite a few visible marks on both sides but no scratches and certainly nothing that impacts on the sound reproduction. Best played LOUD!
Labels ...... Both sides EX. Very clean. No writing.
Incredibly good copy - sounds fantastic.
Please check out my other items. Lots more coming on soon......
