Description
A great opportunity to buy a RARE VINYL LP from the 1970's by Can called "Soon Over Babaluma".
This is a U.K.pressing released in November 1974 on the United Artists label (UAS 29673) and has 5 tracks (see photos for track listings).
The matrix numbers in the dead wax are:- UAG 29673 A-2U (side one) and UAG 29673 B-2U (side two).
The vinyl is in a clean and shiny EXCELLENT condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and there are several light surface marks evident, but nothing at all serious. I have played the whole of both sides and they play fine and sound great. There is a small surface mark on side two towards the end, which produces a light click for a few revolutions, but this should not detract from the overall sound quality of this album.
The labels are clean and free from any writing, stickers or major defects. There are hardly any noticeable spindle marks on the labels when tilted towards the light.
The record is flat and has no warps of any description.
The record is housed within a plain inner sleeve in a VERY GOOD condition considering its age.
The fully laminated picture cover is in a VERY GOOD condition.The edges, corners and spine are still reasonably strong, with some very minor wear on the corners. There is some minor creasing at the corners and some ring-wear is evident.
This is a nice example of a highly collectable 1970's Can LP and should be of interest to avid collectors.
