CANNIBAL CORPSE     BUTCHERED AT BIRTH     old ‘90s picture LP, 1997

Cannibal Corpse Butchered at Birth Megarock Collector’s Picture Disc Series CPD015 from 1997. There are lots of short, light scuffs and scratches all over each face of the LP, most appear when the record is tilted in the light. I personally play tested this record and observed no skips. There is considerable background noise in the run-in sections at the edge of each side before the music kicks in and there is some background noise/crackling at times during quieter parts of the play, like the Meat Hook Sodomy intro. There are a few heavier scores on the LP, but these do not affect the playback substantially, only some background noise and occasional crackling, as expected, especially for a picture disc. Plays better than it looks.

This is a now mega rare early Butchered at Birth picture LP, released by Sweden’s Megarock in 1997. It comes with the old logo, fitting for the artwork. Any picture LPs now have the new logo. Get this now to complete your collection.
