Description
This is an absolutely beautiful copy of Cannonball Adderley Quintet In Chicago. A number of these have passed through my hands, and this is easily the finest copy, from jacket to vinyl. Members of the quintet were jazz legends: John Coltrane (tenor sax), Paul Chambers (bass), Jimmy Cobb (drums), Wynton Kelly (piano), and of course, Cannonball (alto sax). This is a Stereo copy of Mercury Records SR 60134.

GRADING: I grade all of my records using the DISCOGS/Goldmine standards, from MINT (never opened) to POOR (good for playing frisbee). I test-play all of my LPs on my U-Turn Orbit Plus (with Audio Technica AT95E cart) and guarantee my descriptions are 100% accurate. The images I use are of the exact copy you are bidding on. I never rip images from elsewhere on the interwebs and say they are mine!
• LP (VG+) - Both sides are in immaculate condition, with only the faintest signs that it has been played. It played without skips or pops during my test play, and played very quiet.
• JACKET/SLEEVE (VG+) - This sleeve is a very high VG+. Three sharp corners and one slightly curved. No ring-wear, no sticker residue. Crisp spine with 100% of the text visible. There is a small crease on the front at bottom-left, and a fading name stamp at top-right. There is some very slight discoloration due to age on the back.
• INNER SLEEVE - Original clear poly inner is in great condition with no holes.
I personally cleaned this LP in my Spin Clean.
SHIPPING: I ship using standard LP shipping boxes. I use a junk inner for the vinyl and ship it OUTSIDE of the jacket so no seam splits occur during transit. I enclose everything in a poly sleeve so no additional damage to the jacket occurs. I personally drop off the package at my local post office.
