Selling some of my jazz LP collection….a lot of original issues.
NOTE!.....This is an original issue from 1960, not a later 180g or Japanese reissue.
Early or first pressing (I’m not sure which) of this classic album. It’s a US issue imported to the UK – the import stamps are on the back cover. Here’s the details:
The record has the Rudy Van Gelder initials (RVG) stamped in the dead wax and has the "EAR" symbol – on both sides.
The record has a "deep groove" (an indent in the label about 1/2-inch from the edge of the label.) The address 43 West 63rd Street., New York is on the label.
The record is very good condition, not mint! Paper lines visible under strong light. Cleaned on my Vinyl Machine it plays fine with minimum of crackles. In my opinion, in collectable condition.
The unlaminated sleeve is very clean with no rips, splits writing or creases. Small mark on back RH edge.
