There comes a time in your search for the grail, in music, in audio, when, by surprise, you suddenly find yourself astounded, speechless, carted helplessly off someplace else.
Perhaps Moravec playing a Chopin Nocturne stopped you cold. Or, Thomas Murray at the organ at Jamaica Plains.
Whatever it is for you, by my measure, it is called CANTATE DOMINO, a Bossi piece recorded in Sweden by Proprius that can only be described in one word:
Glory.
If there is a better recording of choir, brass and organ, I have not heard it. And though this collection is of Christmas music from around the world, I very much doubt if the only time it comes out in your listening room is in December. After all, glory, once witnessed, welcomes repeating.
Said to be the very finest choral record ever produced, bar none, this copy has a cover still in shrink, record within will play near mint, if not better.
A prize, a treasure, the grail itself, gloriously captured, on this, the original Swedish pressing, 1/2 speed mastered.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
