On offer is The Lp - Trout Mask Replica by Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band.
1969 Pressing on the Straight Records Label - STS 1053 - Matrix No's - STS 1053 A1/B1/C1/D1 .
Side 1: Frownland, The dust blows forward and the dust blows back, Dachua blues, Ella guru, Hair pie bake 1, Moonlight on Vermont.
Side 2: Pachuco cadaver, Bills corpse, Sweet sweet bulbs, Neon meate dream of a octofish, China pig, My human gets me blues, Dali's car.
Side 3: Hair pie bake 2, Pena, Well, When big Joan sets up, Fallin ditch, Sugar n spikes, Ant man bee.
Side 4: Orange claw hammer, Wild life, She's too much for my mirror, Hobo chang ba, The blimp, Steal softly thru snow, Old fart at play, Veteran's day poppy.
Vinyl - Rec 1 - Vg+ Side 1 - a few light hairlines visible, Side 2 - a few light hairlines and also a few light visible surface marks across tks 4 - 7, Playback - Side 1 - a couple of solo clicks and a few occasional light background tics were heard, Side 2 - a few light clicks near the end of track 5 and occasional light background tics but nowt major.
Rec 2 - Vg+ - Side 3 - light hairlines visible in places and also a small surface mark across tk 1, Side 4 - light hairlines visible in places and also a small surface mark across tk 1 & 2, Playback - Side 3 - 2 or 3 clicks heard on track 2 and occasional small background tics were heard, Side 4 - occasional small background tics heard in places.
Overall a decent copy play wise - plays a strong vg+ - ex- with no major flaws - no skips or jumps.
Some small static tics and/or small static crackle is a normal feature of most Vinyl Pressings.
Sleeve - Gd- - The sleeve has age related wear, it's had a repair to the top front corner which is coloured dark red, it's also had a tape repair along the bottom edge, the spine has a lot of wear, the sleeve has visible ring wear and also some creasing - see pics, please note the sleeve does not contain the original paper inners.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Good: The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc...

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
