ORIGINAL 1970 DECCA STEREO SKL-R 5052
EARLY PRESSING MATRICES -2W/-4W!
This record is totally cool, makes you want to sit cross legged on the floor, light up a "j" and lose yourself in psychedelic fantasies. Drags you back to 1970, rips off your skinny jeans and slimfit t-shirt, throws you into flares, tie-dye shirt and afghan coat and generally blows your mind dude!
What's more, this record is in like, totally wicked condish man! First read the screed below, then check out the description.
If I Could Do It All Over Again, I'd Do It All Over You is a 1970 release by Canterbury scene rock band Caravan. According to Allmusic, "If I Could Do It All Over Again contains significant progressions over the first album." It was the second album by the band, the predecessor to their most well-known album In the Land of Grey and Pink. The album is known as the epitome of Canterbury rock, featuring representative organ solos and melodic vocals typical of the band's style. The album was released on Decca Records, as was the title track as a single release.
This record began to define what became the best-known Caravan sound that was heard on most releases through 1975. "For Richard" (the 14:21 medley) became a staple of Caravan shows and was typically heard as the closer. A fully orchestrated, live version can be heard on the 1974 release "Caravan live With the New Symphonia."

CONDISH
SLEEVE
The sleeve is in near mint condition. The front is wonderfully glossy, the "Clarifoil" laminate is in superb condition, there is absolutely no ring wear and there are no creases. The record opening is beautifully sharp, no frays, rips or tears. The corners are nice and sharp, hardly worn at all. The back is very nice and near white, just a little age discolouration. There is no ring wear, creasing, rips or tears. This sleeve is about as good as it gets in my opinion, hard to believe it has got through 39 years and remained in such top condition. The spine is in almost perfect condition with very clear titling and cat number clearly printed (see pics).
Please note: In the photo of the back of the sleeve you can see a darker line on the right hand edge. This is NOT sellotape but where the "Clarifoil" laminate overlaps from the front of the sleeve. It is supposed to be there as it protects the spine and its writing.
VINYL
The vinyl is in near mint condition, even under a strong light there is no scuffing, scratching, sleeve removal marks, in fact, you'd be hard pushed to find even a fingerprint on either side! The labels are in absolute mint condition, nice deep blue background with clear, sharp, silver text. There is no "spidering" and no spindle wear. As close to mint as you can get.
AUDIO
The playback is excellent, there is no skipping, jumping or sticking, barely any background between tracks and about 6 faint clicks throughout the whole record. This record probably plays in exactly the same condition as when it was pressed. It is a great listen.
MATRICES
Early first press matrices Side One ZAL-9752-2W and Side Two ZAL-9573-4W
There it is then dudes (and dudettes). This is a really nice original prog rock record from 1970, in near mint condition throughout. I dont think there's a better copy anywhere, if there is i'd like to see it! Bid with confidence, the record will be sent in a proper LP record mailing package, NOT a couple of bits of old cardboard and some tape cobbled together. The record will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent damage during transit.
Note, i have recently had a couple of nasty experiences with scammers/complainers who quite obviously either outbid themselves or tried it on to get some kind of discount or freebie. All i ask is that you check my 100% feedback to see that i am a respected and honest ebay seller. The record has been comprehensively checked, described, and graded in accordance with the "Gold Mine Standard" valuation mechanism. I play all my records at least twice on both sides prior to posting, and unless stated, they present no problems with playback. In the rare event that you may have a problem with your purchase, simply contact me in a friendly manner with your concerns and i can assure you that i will do all i can to resolve any issues you may have.

In response to a recent question i am pleased to announce the complete matrix, mother and stamper markings in the dead wax.
side one ZAL-9752-P-2W with 1 at 9 oclock, H (?) at 3 oclock and UT at 12 oclock.
side two ZAL-9753-P-4W with 1 at 9 oclock, A at 3 oclock and UT at 12 oclock
As you can see these are very early machine markings in the dead wax, 1A, 1H ( slightly faint this one, could be an N maybe), further proof of a very early pressing of this record.

Had many questions regarding worldwide postage for this record, specifically why it says £10. Well the selling form for some reason wouldnt allow me to continue without putting in a shipping amount, so i decided to put down the standard cost to the US or Japan which is about the furthest i send records. Obviously Europe is less, around £4-£5 for standard shipping. Whatever happens, i never bump up th postage cost just to make a few extra pennies, the winning bidder will pay only what it costs to send the record to his or her country, no more, no less.
