 RARE 1971 UK FIRST PRESSING CARAVAN ORIGINAL OF THEIR MOST ACCLAIMED LP 

DERAM SDL R1

Large brown/white label. This is the earlier 1st pressing brown/white label with 'MADE IN ENGLAND BY THE DECCA RECORD COMPANY' at the top above the DERAM logo. Later '1st pressings' had the smaller DERAM brown/white labels with differently-positioned text and the 2nd pressing was red/white small DERAM logo. This example is an early first pressing.

ZAL-10424.P-1D and ZAL-10425.P-1D are the 1st pressing matrix numbers on this copy. Stampers 1  DG and 1 DU.

Laminated Clarifoil gatefold sleeve (outside) made by Robert Stace.  Spine is strong and wide with clear text. The sleeve shows very little wear. A name has been neatly printed on the inside gatefold, without which I'd consider the sleeve to grade a STRONG EXCELLENT.

Original stereo polylined inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition. 

The record labels are Excellent with moderate spider marks. A name has been neatly written on one side with faint smearing (see picture).

The record itself is in a minimum of EXELLENT condition, both visually and audio. Light scuffs can be seen under a bright light but these do not sound. Really good sound of a 1st pressing.
