Description
Pick Of The Pops For Your DJ 343 featuring 2 CARAVAN live tracks - with John Peel as MC. (UK BBC Transcription Services, 1971) + 5 cue sheets
Of course this a huge opportunity to own the rarest Caravan vinyl - with incredibly good live versions of Nine Feet Underground suite and The Soft Machine cover. The live gig was hosted by John Peel (completely deleted from BBC CD release).
This album also contains the great studio version of Slade - In Like A Shot From My Gun (5th May 1971) and very heavy version of Sweet - Done Me Wrong All Right (+ less impressive, but collectable 'Co-Co') + mega rare track by Roy Harper - One Man Rock And Roll Band
Side 2: CARAVAN - Nine Feet Underground 14'44'' CARAVAN - Feelin Reelin' and Squealin' 9'30 (cover of The Soft Machine debut single B-side )
ALL BBC TRANSCRIPTION DISCS LISTED DURING NEXT FEW WEEKS CAME FROM MY OWN RECORD COLLECTION AND ARE 100% ORIGINAL! THROUGH THE YEARS I DID PAY TOP MONEY FOR MY BBC TITLES, SO YOU CAN EXPECT TOP NOTCH QUALITY BETWEEN EX+ AND NEAR MINT!
Mega rare original UK issue in pristine MINT condition! This is NOT 'Top Of The Pops' version (with slightly different and usually shorter tracks), but rarer version for radio DJ - without any announcements! No talk between the tracks!!!
It was pressed in 1971 in 100 copies - for radio stations only. It contains rare cue sheet with all important infos. The sound quality is perfect! This is mega rare item which should NOT be missed!
