English avant-garde composer Cornelius Cardew (1936-81) performs with his experimental music group Paragraphs 2 & 7 from his monumental & influential work based on one of the classic books of the Confucian religion. Cardew’s experimental works have influenced & inspired subsequent composers. Throughout his life he was a political activist, which influenced his music.
Record is in NM+ condition (appears unplayed) and jacket is NM. This is a scarce UK pressed DG issue. Seldom offered at eBay and an essential recording of experimental music. Don’t miss it!
