THE CARETAKERS-45-“Hidden Steps” b/w “You Don’t Have To Pretend”-Worm Records #1001- FANTASTIC 1966 Garage/Punk 2-sider out of Santa Ana California-Extremely rare pressing-see description in the grading as this was a very primitive pressing, and obviously and extremely limited pressing...back to the record! Both sides are DYNAMITE. In particular the “Hidden Steps” track-cryptic lyrics, gutteral, snotty lead vocals, totally guitar & Vox Continental driven Garage/Punk-KILLER rave-up driving lead guitar break, just killer track. B side is more laid-back Zombies style garage punk with an out of tune lead guitar break which reminds one of the KEGGS 45...need I say more?
