Audiophile double disc complete with 4 page libretto insert 1981 - translation by Jeffrey M. Duban.
Audiophlle label, Telarc is noted for the high quality of its recordings, encapsulated in the slogan "The Telarc Sound". Its engineers are highly regarded within the recording business, and have led Telarc to 40 Grammy Awards. In 2004 it received the "Label Of The Year" Award from Gramophone Magazine. Telarc released the very first digital classical music recording.
Condition: Laminated gatefold sleeve has light ring wear. There are about ten small what look like water stains near the spine - not real obvious, but noticeable. Corners are slightly dull. Spine and top are solid but bottom has some shelf wear. Four page libretto insert is like new. There are no spindle marks on the label. Vinyl is clean, shiny and plays like new.

Review: Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" with Robert Shaw conducting the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chorus accompanied by the Atlanta Boy Choir also features three fantastic soloists: Judith Blegen, Hakan Hagegard and William Brown. All three vocalists display enormous talent and emotion but particularly noteworthy is Ms. Blegen's performance which is probably powerful enough to shatter glass!
