Very nice copy of the original 1955 Sun 78 of Carl Perkins doing Gone Gone Gone and Let the Juke Box Keep on Playing on Sun 224. This copy has some wear but really it isn't bad. Gone Gone Gone has some light marks but they are not deep and it still plays beautifully. There is a touch of minor background crackle in spots but really it plays great with no groove distortion, crisp and clean. The Juke Box side is more like EX with barely any wear. The grooves are still shiny on both sides and the marks that you do see are really superficial. If you haven't heard this music on the original 78s you really are in for a treat. It is like hearing it for the first time; so much presence and excitement that the CDs and even LPs just can't get. Anyhow it is all here on this disc, loud and clear. This is a beautiful copy.
