Description
Rockabilly collector grail. Original first pressing of the "Dance Album of Carl Perkins" on Sun from 1957. Sun 1225. Mono. ROCKABILLY CLASSIC!! Thick, heavy, and super glossy deepgroove vinyl, fantastic playback, no noise, hiss, or any pops outside of the original recording itself. Heavy cardstock cover. Loud and crisp. Vinyl: Impossibly rare in this condition, NM- vinyl, a few small superficial hairlines/scuffs from sliding in and out of the cardboard sleeve a few times over the years. Labels: Very clean, no writing, stains, or scratches. Very light spindle marks, overall: Clean and bright NM- Sleeve: VG, taped seams, probably a fix for splits, not the best tape job as you can see from the photos. Some usual shelf wear, a 3/4" tear in the laminate on the front(top right, probably a price sticker, stamp on back, staple holes near opening (probably sealed like that for decades and the reason for the beautiful condition of the vinyl), overall it looks great, nice gloss and color to the front. Back has some marks here and there but retains it's white balance. Please check the photos carefully, they speak volumes on the sleeve condition. I grade conservatively, goldmine standards. Thanks so much, please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Please read terms below. A-Side: BLUE SUEDE SHOES MOVIE MAGG SURE TO FALL GONE, GONE, GONE HONEY DON’T ONLY YOU B-Side: TENNESSEE WRONG YO YO EVERYBODY’S TRYING TO BE MY BABY MATCHBOX YOUR TRUE LOVE BOPPIN’ THE BLUES Comes from my private collection and it will be missed.
