Description
This is a hard to find promo 45 of "Pointed Toe Shoes"/ "Highway Of Love" pressed on vinyl instead of the usual styrene. The 45 is in very good + condition- the vinyl has some small marks but both sides play through with no listening problems. The 45 comes with a rare hard cover (like an EP) . It appears Columbia used the 45 as a tie in with the Douglas Shoe Company to promote the "Pointed Toe Shoe" single. The back cover has a nice pic of Carl and part of the lyrics. The cover is not in the best of shape- the top seam has a 4 1/4 split on the right side, the bottom seam has an 1 1/2 inch split. There is also come damage to the back cover slick- mostly along the bottom and right side. Nice to see this cover which doesn't turn up very often.
