Description
Here is a copy of the lp entitled "Teen Beat", as recorded by the legendary CARL PERKINS. This is the original 1961 pressing on SUN Records. The record number is..SLP 1225, and the matrix number is..SU-121.
The record was well cared for, and is in EX condition. The jacket would also have graded EX, however closer inspection revealed a short seam-split at the bottom center (about 2"), and an invisible short split at the botom right corner(about 1"). Just the same...over all condition of this rare title is still very nice.
Making things even sweeter is the fact that this album is AUTOGRAPHED by CARL PERKINS on the bottom left corner of the front of the jacket. There are also 2 autographs on the back of the jacket...which I assume are the drummer & bass player(Please see photos). Also included is a newspaper add promoting the Carl Perkins concert in Cleveland, Ohio where these autographs were obtained.
A fine piece of American Rock n Roll history!
