Description

45 (7"), CARL PERKINS - "GLAD ALL OVER / FOREVER YOURS (LONDON HLS 8527), incredible item!!!!!!!! Ultra rare 1957 British original issue on the TRI-LABEL with SILVERLETTERING.

This is one of Carl Perkin's 45s that was originally issued on SUN RECORDS in the USA, and stands as a hugely influential 45 at the time-not least on a young George Harrison who's playing on the early Beatles records oozes with Perkins' licks.

Best of all, this is a fantastic copy, especially when you consider that it is almost 50 years old! No marks or scuffs at all, every groove looks clean and the disc would only have been played maybe a dozen times. You can see traces of where it's been taking out of the paper sleeve, but I am being very specific here!! Really lovely clean copy - I'd grade it EX visually and ex++ soundwise. The labels are still a lovely strong black with the silver lettering still radiant. Top drawer collectable!!!!
