GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : la canzone dal film è divertente con un vivace accompagnamento ritmico e sonorità colorite. Eccellente il timbro vocale del cantante che denota una consumata abilità grazie alla lunga esperienza artistica che dai primi anni 50 aveva maturato collaborando con ottimi musicisti quali Luttazzi, Galassini e Gualdi. Nel secondo lato la bella canzone di Cesare Alberto Bixio e Bixio Cherubini composta nel 1934 per Carlo Buti e successivamente ripresa da moltissimi cantanti. La versione di Giuseppe Negroni è molto garbata con un'impostazione moderna della melodia.

Notes : the song from the movie is fun with a lively rhythmic accompaniment and colorful sonorities. Excellent vocal tone of singer denoting a consummate skill thanks to his long artistic experience from the early 50s  gained working with great musicians such as Luttazzi, Galassini and Gualdi. On the second side the beautiful song by Cesare Alberto  Bixio and Bixio Cherubini composed in 1934 for Carlo Buti and subsequently coverized by many singers. The version of Giuseppe Negroni is very likable based on a modern vocal approach to melody.
