CARLOS SANTANA-BLUES FOR SALVADOR 2016 COLUMBIA RECORDS REISSUE 180 GRAM LP MOVLP1444 EUROPEAN IMPORT IN A STRONG VG+ CONDITION. CLEAN VINYL!! Originally recorded in late 1987, Carlos Santana dedicated this album to his wife in this auction. It won the 1989 Grammy for Best Rock Instrumental Performance and one listen, you'll know why. Santana's play is honest and fiery at the same time. Tracks such as Bailando/Aquatic Park, Trane and Mingus all appear on this amazing jazz fusion / rock album. All fans of Carlos Santana need this one in their collection, it's a keeper!!
The record is in an easy VG+ condition, nice and clean, plays well throughout. I also should mention that the weight to me feels more like a 140 than a 180 gram but according to Discogs, this issue is a 180 gram. The cover has mild rubs on the corners and there is a small spot of scuffing on the back bottom. The original inner sleeve is intact. An awesome buy!!
