Description

For sale is CARMEN McRAE "Sings Lover Man," on Columbia CL 1730, MONO, DG, Promo, 1962. With Walter Perkins, Bob Crenshaw, Norman Simmons, Mundell Lowe, Nat Adderley, and Eddie Davis.
SOUND: MINT It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. What can I say? Absolutely delightful, crystal-clean listening experience! Perfect!
VINYL: NM Only light smudges, or the faintest "inner-sleeve" scuffs keep the vinyl from perfection. All completely cosmetic, the vinyl in lovely condition. Deep-grooved, red-6-eye, "promo" labels are beautiful. Only a faint spindle mark on side A, or they'd be perfect.
JACKET: NM Solid edges and spine all-around, in clean, like-new condition. The corners are very nice. Both front and back covers are very clean and unmarked, except for the "promo" stamp on the back. Only minimal signs of routine wear or aging.
The photos are of the exact record up for bids. Look before you bid, ask if you want any additional info or pics.
If you need to add this record to your collection, this is the copy you will keep forever! Buy-it-now for $30.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction. I'm not a collector, nor an audiophile, but I think they are desirable if you're into this kind of material.  Click "see other items" and thanks for looking!
