CAROL GRIMES AND DELIVERY - FOOLS MEETING - LTD EDITION COLOURED VINYL

Blind To Your Light 5:05 Miserable Man 8:28 Home Made Ruin 3:23 Is It Really The Same 5:44 We Were Satisfied 4:02 The Wrong Time 7:50 Fighting It Out 5:48 Fools Meeting 5:27
Fools Meeting is sometimes called as one of the earliest examples of the Canterbury Scene. It's an interesting mix of jazz-rock, progressive rock, blues rock and psychedelia with some nice female vocals. I really dig their sound and style. The actual name of the band was just Delivery but the record company wanted to release this album under the name Carol Grimes and Delivery.

This is a very consistent and solid effort in my opinion. My personal favourite might be "Is It Really the Same" or "Fighting It Out" but all of these songs are more or less impressive and I could choose almost any of them as a highlight example. I'm rating this strong Canterbury Scene album with four stars out of five. Recommended for every progressive rock fan out there.
