LOOK AT THIS BEAUTY.

Up for auction from my private collection, the incredibly rare Carpenters first LP - 'Offering' from 1969 (later retitled 'Ticket To Ride). Second in rarity only to the Magic Lamp 7" and boy are those scarce.

BUT WAIT - THERE'S MORE.

The reverse of the sleeve has been personally signed by Richard Carpenter. Here is the story:

I take a vacation in Los Angeles back in '93, and I find this LP in a rare record store. I take the record over to the Carpenters family home in Downey, hand it over to Evelyn Wallace (Carpenters long time secretary) and Richard signs it.

So, what you have here is a super rare LP, signed by Richard Carpenter, and has graced the Carpenters house (the one on the cover of Now & Then LP). If you don't believe me, I have photos of the house including yours truly standing on the porch.

This is truly a special item.

Condition is excellent throughout. Cover is intact with original A&M insert - a few scuffs but nothing serious.

I am looking for a good price on this LP, so bid seriously.

As a guide, I am looking for $80 minimum. I will pull the auction if such a price is not reached.
