Description

Rare original cover to their first LP was quickly changed by A&M due to the creepy look of Karen in what seemed to be a nun's outfit holding flowers with a sad expression on her face. Legendary item with fans of this great band (I love 'em personally). Difficult to find clean as there tends to be wear on the black clothes she is wearing. This copy has very minor bit of that, in fact the cleanest I've seen outside shrinkwrap... so I give this an Ex/Ex grade as disc is nice with a few faint paper scuffs...a keeper until a pristine one turns up for even the most serious Carpenters collector.Very tiny little number '3' and tiny rubber stamped 'D' in very lower right corner on back. This is a nice copy! A&M Records # SP 4205.
