This is a very rare opportunity to purchase from 1972 on vinyl LP record, Blown from Australia’s legendary Carson, in near Mint condition.

In the early 70’s Carson were known as the Kings of Boogie, they were a sensational live act and one of Australia’s most loved blues bands. Lead singer Broderick Smith went on to front The Dingoes.

Band members – Greg (Sleepy) Lawrie (bottleneck guitar), Broderick Smith (vocals / harp), Tony Lunt (drums), Mal Logan (keyboards), Gary Clarke (bass), Ian Winter (guitar).

This is a powerful piece of early 70’s Australian blues / boogie. Broderick’s vocals and harmonica are brilliant, all band members are on fire, as are all songs. This record maybe 37 years old, but it is still one of my all time favourites and should be on everyone’s playlist.

A chance to purchase Blown from Carson on LP record won’t come along everyday. A copy in near Mint condition, like this one, is an even rarer find.

Put Blown on your turntable and boogie your heart out. This is one hell of a piece of early 70’s Australian blues / boogie history.

Details / Condition

• This record is from my own collection.
• It has always been kept inside a plastic ‘zip’ record bag and stored vertically in shelving.
• Catalogue number Harvest SHVL608, EMI Australia, 33 1/3 record Mint.
• Record shiny black, one very small scuff on side 2, in near Mint condition.
• Record labels mint condition
• Deadwax area (YHARX1019-2)
• Cover there is a very light ring mark on the front & back covers, these are appear as a slight indent in the cardboard and shows no signs of rubbing; the front cover has a light crease in the bottom LH corner (please ask for photo if required) and to the right of the centre artwork; the back cover has very minimal creasing along the spine edge. Given these very minor flaws I would rate the cover as Mint minus.
• Inner sleeve clear plastic, in Mint condition

• The record will be packed between 2 sheets of corrugated cardboard and despatched in an Australia Post Padded Bag.
