Landmark album for C.Wilson on her way to her later BLUE NOTE albums, presenting her in a small line-up setting performing intimate versions of tunes from the American songbook, showing her already highly individual vocal style with bluesy roots of her Mississippi homeland, some awesome scat-vocalizing and more. Highly recommended. I offer a mint copy of C.Wilson/New Moon Daughter in my current auctions !

Condition: the record looks mint- except for the beginning of side 1, there's a small scratch causing ca. 15 tics during the first ca. 25 seconds, the rest of side one and the complete side 2 play perfectly in mint-. The cover has intact seams/spine, there's a small cut-out at the upper right side, front & back are fine with just a hint of slightest shelfwear, overall ex++.

Zustand: die LP hat am Anfang des ersten Stücks einen kleinen Kratzer, der ca. 15 tics innerhalb ca. 25 Sekunden verursacht, der Rest der gesamten LP ist optisch und akkustisch in mint-. Das Cover hat einen mini cut-out an der rechten oberen Seite, ist ansonsten fast wie neu, ex++.  alle Platten habe ich professionell gereinigt und angehört (meist ganz, manchmal in Ausschnitten). Kommen mit neuer Außen- & Innenhülle !

Grading & Cleaning:

• the record has been cleaned on my professional HANNL record cleaning machine

• after that I playgraded it (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN:TU-3 Super Fine Line ( please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment )

• I also visually graded the record under a strong light

• only an unplayed record is mint, the highest grading for a used record is mint- ! My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg.

• cleaned records are stored in a new deluxe innersleeve and they are placed in a new PVC protection-sleeve !
