1966 UK STATESIDE DEMONSTRATION SAMPLE. SS-546. MINT-. The MP3s provided were taken directly from the actual 45 for sale. Here is a extremely rare never see original 1966 uk Demo copy of this superb Garage-Psych 45 by 'Cast Of Thousands'. Both sides are really excellent catchy Garage-Psych tunes with some great lead guitar, the A-side is all about a girl who wears a Mini Skirt. I think that both sides have appeared on compilations in the past. Original uk vinyl stock copies are very rare but this demo is pretty much impossible to find in such brilliant condition as this. CONDITION = M-
Both sides of the vinyl have that brilliant just pressed deep glossy sheen, there are no surface marks, scuffs or scratches at all, there are only a few extremely light hard to see withdrawal traces caused by the paper sleeve. This very rare Demo 45 has only ever had just a couple of very careful plays on a decent turntable since new and so both sides play top excellent throughout with no lessoning in the sound quality. The Demo labels are in as new very clean condition and the original Stateside records paper cover is in brilliant clean and crisp condition with no marks or splits.
If you collect rare Mod, Psych and Freakbeat 45's and the stranger and more obscure beat and Pop-Sike releases from the mid to late 1960's then this musically superb very rare 1966 Stateside Demo Garage-Psych 45 would make a really brilliant addition to any serious collection.
