Description
CAT STEVENS - Mona Bone Jakon LP (UK "Pink" Island ILPS 9118, 1970) + printed inner with WORDS!
This is mega rare UK 1st Press of the best and rarest Cat Stevens album. In addition very rare handwritten lyric inner (Polydor) sleeve is included (in EX+ condition).
Cover: EXCELLENT This is very nice cover (still with CORRECT & ORIGINAL Island's Basing Street address on back - beware of later editions!) but some minor imperfections like few small wrinkles near the opening edge & very small shelf(ring)wear - on front only. The back cover is perfect. The pinched spine is in great shape (with all letters and numbers fully intact) and the opening edge is perfect, too. My description is very detailed and honest.
Record: MINT(-) Looks like being played 2-3 times - at last! Maybe 2-3 smallest hairlines visible! Beauty! The vinyl audio is just incredible - million times better and crispier than on later editions and without any clicks or noises!
Both labels are immaculate - with NO spindle marks at all.
You can bid with confidence – check my feedback, please. My grading system is very strict – with very slight difference between M and EX. As a collector too I perfectly know, what does it mean to buy an overgraded record!!!
All my records (including 7-inches) were cleaned on Clearaudio Matrix machine and are ready to listen – without any disturbing noises or crackles caused by dirt.
I USE THE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM (M / EX / VG) - WITH ADDITIONAL ‘+’ AND ‘-‘
Payment: (I accept UK Pounds, EURO & US Dollars!!!)
Paypal - NO charges!
Bank transfer (for EU countries only), but PAYPAL is preffered
WILL POST TO WORLDWIDE
My packing is very strong and safe – I used the cardboard boxes only (NO flimsy, damage-prone mailers!!!) with additional stiffeners and bubble wrapping.
