CATHEDRAL - Stained Glass Stories, Delta DRC-1002 LP 1978. Includes original lyric sheet insert.
This rare US prog needs no introduction to lovers of progressive 70s bands. Generally regarded as both a rare original and an absolutely brilliant piece of music,a rare combination indeed! Full of creaky mellotron,and keyboard textures, soaring guitars and driving percussiveness in complex arrangements which engage from start to finish. The music takes its cues from Yes and Genesis but travels to its its own fascinating destination. Can't recommend it highly enough!
The condition of the LP is a clean M-. The Cover is EX, it has a little creasing on top left corner and part of top right edge and some slight "orangish-coloured age spotting on rear of cover paste on(to the right of band photo) , and couple of age spots on bottom and top left white margin on cover. Overall the cover is in pretty clean condition and is still pretty white - where this cover's paste-on is quite frequently very yellowed. On this copy though the inevitable yellowing for this kind of paste-on sleeve is only slight and confined to the back edges, except for those small age-spots as described. So overall a pretty nice copy!
