 You are bidding on a rare, original, teen-doo-wop, LP record album from 1961 by Cathy Jean and The Roomates, "At The Hop!", on the Valmor record label, #LP 789.  The jacket is in very good plus condition.  The front cover has bright and vibrant colors.  The edges are very nice.  There is light wear on the corners and a couple of very small pinches, noticed upon close examination.  The back side cover is very nice and the white background has only some very light wear and very little soiling, more of which is common for albums of this vintage. There is a small price sticker at the bottom right hand corner on the back cover.  It states, in small letters, written in ink, "Apex M", and then typed is, "VLY FAIR  REG 3.93  NOW 2.98".  The labels are in very good condition with bright and vibrant colors.  There is some light spindle hole usage, noticed when tilting the record back and forth and examining under light.  On the front cover are two narrow lines of undulation of the cover paper which do little to distract.  These can be seen in the third photo.  At the right edge, where the record slides out, are some very small spots of wear.  At the bottom of both label sides is stated, "A DIVISION OF COUNTESS INTERNATIONAL".  The vinyl on The Roomates side is in very good condition with some light, isolated scratching.  The Cathy Jean vinyl side is in very good minus to very good condition, also with some light isolated scratching.  There is one light to moderate scratch which extends from the spindle hole on the label into two song bands.  The vinyl gloss is very nice and shiny.  This has been a critical description for the serious record collector.  This is a very nice LP and extremely rare.  Please see the detailed photos.  DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE NOTE:  Due to the high value of this record, priority mail expense, signature confirmation, and insurance, are required for this auction.  Please do not bid if you are not willing to pay this.  Also, the aforementioned prices will be adjusted after the auction is completed and I will then send the invoice.  This is a 10-day, no reserve, sale.
