The Fellegara project was conceived by the author and the original nucleus of the CCCP as an artist's book in a limited edition in which to bring together all the original and largely unpublished materials which they concerned the place where physically was born the Italian punk band most famous internationally. This book is the only original edition. 50 es. of which only someone is available, the others were all delivered to the artists involved in the project coordinated by Toni Contiero. The CCCP Fedeli alla linea, originating in Reggio Emilia, were an Italian punk rock band, widely considered one of the most important and influent in Italy in the eighties and known throughout the world.
Them a group of "Emilian melodic music" and "the punk-Soviet", born in 1982 in Berlin, the meeting between the guitarist Massimo Zamboni and the future singer / band leader of Giovanni Lindo Ferretti and disbanded in Italy in 1990, simultaneously with the crisis of the Soviet Union, after having included in the group of some former Litfiba components.
The book include for the first time after twenty-five years all the protagonists of the group and some of the first fan, who for various reasons have frequented the place where the CCCP are in fact born along with songs like Paranoid Emilia, of which for first time Giovanni Lindo Ferretti narrates the genesis. Besides being the home of Giovanni and Maria Grazia Guidetti, in the house there was the rehearsal room of the CCCP.
A Fellegara born music and Emilian punk aesthetic of the group, with input from Annarella, Eleonora Calestani, Benedetto Valdesalici and all those who lived the unique experience of that place lost in the mists of Reggio Emilia.
The book contains texts and many unpublished photos of that era, blended in pure punk style constructivist Soviet from the graphics by Toni Contiero with contributions from all the historic core of the CCCP Fedeli alla Linea: Giovanni Lindo Ferretti, Massimo Zamboni, Annarella judges, Umberto Negri, Zeo judges together with friends Maria Grazia Guidetti, Benedict Valdesalici, Francesca Costa, Corrado Costa, Eleanor Calestani, Silvia Bonvicini
The author
Toni Contiero is a photographer, writer and Italian poet. He started with Frigidaire and avant-garde magazines The Face and El Vibora, a friend of Luigi Ghirri, he deals with experimental photography.
He has collaborated with numerous musicians including C93, Pantaleimon, Andria Degens, David Tibet, Dear Eloise, Torturing Nurse, Marlene Kuntz, CCCP Fedeli alla Linea, Franco Battiato, Gianni Maroccolo, Andrea Chimenti and writers like Pier Vittorio Tondelli, Corrado Costa and Manlio Sgalambro.
