For auction is the CECIL TAYLOR Trio and Quintet's "Love For Sale," on UAL 4046, MONO, 1959.
SOUND:VG or better
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Overall, it is a very nice listen. The record has modest background noise throughout, nothing out of line, just a few crackles here and there , as well as a couple mid-volume pops here and there. I'm being really critical here, out of an abundance of caution! It wouldn't bother most listeners, in my opinion. I enjoyed the record thoroughly! Very cool performance!
VINYL: VG or better
The vinyl looks good, with two short, light scuffs on each side. Other than that, fine.
COVER: VG/VG+
The cover is pretty good. It has a split from the bottom middle to the right edge. The rest of the edges are solid. The corners have a little softening. The front cover is clean and retains its sheen. It has "J", and "Jazz" written in marker. The back cover has routine yellowing and is unmarked except for a "promo" stamp.

I loved this record! Awesome performance! The condition is good and playback very enjoyable. No reserve, bidding starts at $15.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
