Description
Here’s the mythical, powerful and super sought-after Cee Four, otherwise known as “Metal Mash.” It’s a live Metallica double album recorded after Kill, that’s known for sure. But the rest of the details are debated by metal collectors worldwide. I purchased it around’87 because a small sticker was hand-written saying “Live ‘87” and I had to hear it. The back cover says it was recorded on May 9, 1987, but the inlay is dated 1986. Hmm…
I’m a Metallica fan, not a professional vinyl seller, so I can only tell you what I know to be true. I played it once then kept it protected as a piece of history. Other than that I’ve only had the vinyl out to take pictures. The inlay and inner sleeves are original and plain. The cover shows a tiny bit of wear, and that’s it. You’ll be getting the actual album pictured, flaws and all, so that is the only legitimate way for you to grade it.
And remember, this is the ORIGINAL first pressing, first edition, double-live epic recording of Metallica, created as they blazed the trail for American metal - I expect you to treat it accordingly.
