Okay, folks, don't sleep on this one. AWESOME afro-funk from Nigeria! It's the debut album by The Celebrant on the UK Decca-distributed Oumo label from Lagos (ORPS 74), made in 1978. Recorded in Lagos but vinyl and cover pressed in the UK, made for reverse import to be sold in Nigeria! Lyrics in English, and as the label states: "Tempo: FUNK." Slammin' music you can dance yer asss off to—a rare and highly desirable afro-funk album!
Cover is a solid VG+ with some very light ring wear, mostly on the back; the opening edge didn't get the full lamination and is a bit dark—nothing serious. The vinyl is a MINT stock copy! Hard to find these afro lps in such great condition! You will NOT be disappointed with the condition!
