CELINE DION : "THE PEANUT BUTTER SOLUTION" - HER FIRST TWO ENGLISH LANGUAGE SONGS   **************************** I SHIP EVERYWHERE********************************   This 1985 French Canadian film features the first English-language songs performed by Céline Dion ( 'LISTEN TO THE MAGIC MAN' and  MICHAEL'S SONG . The French-language version of the film features French-language versions of the same songs (Dans la main d'un magicien and La ballade de Michel). She was 16 or 17 when she made these recordings.  The music for both songs are by Lewis Furey and the lyrics by Eddy Marnay.  (Celine recently named one of her twin sons Eddy, in honour of this famous French lyricist).  The score for the film was also composed by Furey.  ( It should be noted that other than the two CELINE DION songs, the album is actually mostly dialogue). It should also be noted that even then Dion was an amazingly accomplished singer.   I suspect anyone who hasn't heard MICHAEL'S SONG as it is sung here is in for a pleasant surprise. A great hook in the chorus.   It is this English language version of the album that has become the most difficult to find, and it's a must have for the multitudes of DION fans all over the world. The album was released in 1985 on EPIC Records (Canada), number PBS-80107/STEREO. The vinyl is LIKE NEW, and the cover nearly so. It has the gold Promotion Stamp on the back, top left corner, a small paper tear at the middle front opening (very minor) and just a minor bit of ring wear top and bottom. All of this is minimal at most. It's a perfectly fine copy of a very collectable pop soundtrack.     SHIPPING COST: U.S.A.   - $9.00                                INTERNATIONAL -  $19.00 (AIR)                                REST OF CANADA VARIES BY REGION - TBA   PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:   NOTE: THE COSTS above SUPERCEDE ANY OTHERS shown elsewhere on these eBay listings.    PLEASE NOTE:  WHILE IT WILL STATE I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS, I DO RESOLVE AS FAIRLY AND QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE ANY PROBLEM THAT MAY DEVELOP.
